Week 12
We went in for our first "official" ultrasound (i.e. not done by Jennifer). We had hoped the doctor would be able to guess Baby Nash's sex so we could stop referring to it as "the baby", but alas our child is modest and didn't want to show to world its goods (good to know...better keep that kind of attitude up throughout life). But the day wasn't a total loss. Baby Nash is healthy and very active. It was bouncing and flipping all over the place. It went from one side to the other, from its back to its belly and then back again. Jennifer may have her hands full when she can finally feel the kid. We even got to see it take a big stretch and (possible) yawn. Cute kid and obviously ours. Baby Nash came in a little over 5 cm CRL. Jen is doing fine. Morning sickness is waning off. She had a cold but is slowly getting over that. Of course she gave it to me (finally, I didn't get her sick!). She has "developed a love for breakfast. It's what I live for. Well, that and chips and salsa." One of her co-workers asked (in response to the chips 'n salsa) if she was having a Mexican baby. Jen answered, "Nope, just Robert's baby." That's right, my kid digs the spice.
Anywho, I know you guys mainly come here to see the pictures so I will stop yammering and post them.
