Week 18

More pics for all your baby looking needs! My new favorite picture! In about 15 years, he'll be sitting like this on his bed - feet on wall and an IPOD super nano on his head.
Head on the right side - profile.
Ditto.

Week 16 (delayed)

As you all know, we are in the middle of a move so these blogs are a bit delayed. Jen hit 17 weeks today, but the following pictures are from last weekend. Jen had a doctor's appointment today and everything was fine. Jacob's heart rate is doing great (155) and he is still as active as ever. A complete stranger asked Jen is she was pregnant because she is "glowing" which is very true. Very pretty. Hopefully the kid will take after her...but not too much since it's a boy, because then it would just be odd. It's a spine and head. Looks like those things that attacked Neo in Matrix. Jacob's legs. Ah what will he do with these one day? Stand up against injustice? Run for a touchdown? Kick daddy from whence he came? Cute little baby foot (upper left). One of my favorite pics so far. -------------------------------------------------- Jen is starting to show! Robert is...what the?!

Week 15 (+ 1 day)

Here we are 1 week into the second trimester! Jen bought here first maternity clothes today and was pretty excited about it. She looks very cute in them. I'll try to talk her into taking a pic of herself here soon. We got another ultrasound today and are proud to announce that it's a boy! No more calling the baby "it", we can now call him, well "him". Or "he" I suppose. Or we can just go with the name we picked out, Jacob Conner. Has a nice ring to it. The baby appears to be doing well still. Here are the latest pictures. We got two 3-D images just for fun. Keep in mind that the baby is still forming so it may look a bit...creepy, er cute I mean.
You can't see it in this picture, but he had his hands clasped together in a prayer like manner. Pretty cute.
Doing what he does best, chillin'.
Once again, just hanging out. That thing near his mouth was his hand waving around, not a bottle feeder as I thought.
Is it wrong that I will see this face when I get up in the middle of the night to use the rest room, and I'll run?
I stared at this picture for awhile because he reminded me of someone. You can tell he is grinning really big. Finally it hit me. See below pic for comparrrison.
Ahhh...you're a sweet one, Baby Jacob.
