Blocks and Parks

Nothing like warm weather to bring out the outdoorsman in Jacob. Actually that is a lie. The kid would play outside in subzero temperatures. We have been hitting the park pretty much everyday for the last few weeks. He really enjoys the playground area, especially when I hit it just right and no one else is around. He has no hesitation climbing up everything and peering over the side. I am a bit on edge when he does it, but it's all good.

All of a sudden one day, after weeks of not playing with them, Jacob became quite the builder.

Stacking 5 seemed to be his limit mainly due to the fact that his little arm couldn't stretch any higher.

No need to wait on me kiddo. I'm just the one who got you dressed, fed and drove you here today.

Yep, I travel through the small spaces too.

Jacob contemplates what it means to be a slide.

Jacob's first trip to the sandbox.

Much like the grass, the sand is better on the other side too.

Jacob is having a swinging good time!

Nothing to do with Jacob...just some cool pics of me.

Huh...it's like the cover of most Christian CD's.

Actually, this is more like every Christian CD cover. It has that 'I'm thinking about important things' look to it. All that is missing is my blurry band members in the background. Oh hey, where did Jacob go??!

Oh phew! There he is...just climbing up the play structure.
