Vacation Part 1

Finally - here are the pictures from our vacation to New Braunfels and San Antonio! I have created THREE SEPARATE POSTS, so be sure to check them all out. Pics from Schlitterbaghn will have to wait I am afraid. Our scanner isn't working currently.

We start with pictures from the San Antonio Zoo!

Jacob was all nice to this tall girl next to him...until she claimed the tank as her own and tried to take his fishing rod away.

Not the best way to catch fish, but hey what do I know - I haven't caught anything in nearly 20 years (though I also haven't fished in 10).

Mommy and Jacob checking out some cave dwelling animal.

Jacob showing off his one pack to some random Latino woman. He likes the Latin women...and lifting his shirt is how he lets them know.

"Later mom and pop!"

Ahh sweet A/C. Thank you Jacob for playing inside.

No he wasn't scared of the oversize fish. Just tired.

Future rock climber? Maybe Jacob and his cousin Ryan can climb Everest one day..

Huh...I could have poured a bottle of water out on the patio for free to give him the same thrill..

This picture looks really sweet at first glance. Jacob looking lovingly at his mom. On closer inspection, however, one will notice that Jacob is zoned in on Jennifer's sunglasses.

Leading the way.

Me trying to not imagine all of the nasty things that reside in the water that is being splashed into my eyes and mouth.

The Jacob Exhibit!

"CHEESE!"

Mmmm! Snowcone!

Vacation Part 2

Here are some pictures from our trip to the Children's Museum in New Braunfels. Jacob had a blast there, especially outside with the water tables (luckily for us, there was plenty of shade).

Digging for dinosaur bones!

Scheming?

I have the admit - the water portion of this place was pretty cool and where we spent the most time. Jenn and I had fun with it all too.

So now, if someone ever ask 'how big is Jacob compared to a giraffe?', you will know how to answer.

So now, if anyone ever ask 'does Robert look like a gorilla?', you will know how to answer.

Classic Jacob shot. Possibly the best pic from the whole trip.

He wasn't sure about the ambulance at first, but quickly got over it.

A glimpse 14 years into the future.

Leggo my Eggo kid!

That is the largest arm-pit stain I have ever seen.

Uhhh, not sure that is gluten free dude!

Oh yes - I had a good time in the space section.

Moving around this particular area caused lights and sounds to turn on which Jacob loved.
