Merry Christmas! We had some fun leading up to all the holiday excitement. You came down with the flu at the beginning of the week. You had a really high fever and had to take several doses of medicine. Thankful you were feeling better in time for Santa! On Christmas Eve you opened two presents from Mommy and me. We gave you a helicopter and pajamas (you didn't really care for the pj's but that's normal). You helped Mommy put out some chocolate chip cookies for Santa and then went to sleep. Sure enough, the next morning Santa had come and left you lots of new, fun toys! He gave you a Geo-trax airplane set, a school set, a drawing board, blocks, books and several other things. He also left you a new stuffed monkey in your stocking which you love and carry around.

Jacob retrieves his Christmas Eve loot from under the tree

The pajamas didn't go over that big, but he loved the helicopter!

Very, very excited.

So excited that he immediately moved on to his favorite b'day gift.

All ready for Santa!

Pile some more cookies on that plate buddy! Santa gets hungry!

Giving the tree a final inspection

The traditional Christmas Eve Running Over of Mommy

Santa sighting?!

"SAAAANTA! I KNOW HIM! I KNOW HIM!"

The stockings where....placed by the chimney with care.

"Jacob to base - I have a visual on the presents."

Back in my day, Little People were smaller and flushable.

Not a plane I would ever fly on, but Jacob likes it.

Yeah baby! BLOCKS!!!

Moments later, Jacob stuck it in his belly button. Glad Santa didn't bring him a real drill!

Pro-Daddy Propaganda

All of Santa's hard work on building those block cities...destroyed in seconds.

Moving on to the stockings

Jacob seemed a bit more interested with my stocking at first. I kept having to divert his attention.

"Is it time for breakfast yet Jacob? Please??"

Christmas Morning Aftermath

"I know how to escape my crib now!"

Merry Christmas!!

Shhhh...baby Jesus is sleepy
