Fun Fact
I was moving all of Jacob's pictures into a single folder and saw the total number of induvidual pictures that we have taken since his birth: 4,540. I am sure there are people who have done more with their first child. Our poor second child will be lucky to get half that I am sure (no, we're not preggers).

Christmas 2008
And just like that, the holiday season is over! It has been busy since mid November but things have finally settled down here. Jacob seemed to have a great Christmas. Jennifer's parents (Meme and Paw-Paw) came over Christmas Eve. That evening Jacob opened a gift from Jennifer and I and we opened our presents from him. We gave him a laptop in the hopes taht he'd leave mine alone. So far so good. We left out cookies from Santa made by yours truely and headed to bed.
Jacob slept well that night and woke up very excited Christmas morning. He was all smiles when he saw his toys. He received a pretty good loot from the man in red. He spent a good long while playing before we could pry him away to eat breakfast.
The next day the three of us loaded up the car and headed to Broken Bow, OK. My wonderful brother-in-law and sister rented a cabin for us and my parents for Christmas. It was an enjoyable time and the boys loved playing together. It was fun to see them play with each others toys. I noticed that my oldest nephew liked the younger boys toys while the babies were drawn to Reagan's batcave and trains. All in all it was a great Christmas!

And finally...

And there you have it - Christmas 2008! Check out The Hullabaloo for additional pics whenever they are posted. One final bit of news: I have created a new blog that is officially up and running. The links to both of these sites are found at the top of the page along the header. Hope everyone has a wonderful new year!

Too bad he wasn't happy to see all the presents...
I made this same face one year when I thought I didn't get a pound puppy. Perhaps Jacob is missing something from his list.
Good thing the dog isn't real.

I figured since I was the one taking pictures all through Christmas I might as well put myself into one.

And now, a few pictures of future Aggies. Featuring: QB 1 - Jacob "The Bomb" Nash, at RB - Reagan "KACHOW" Hull and your All Star MLB - Ryan "The Tank" Hull!
Yes, Jacob received many gifts this year, but he had to give his left arm for them.

Happy 1st Birthday Jacob!
Jacob has survived the first year of his life with only a few bumps and bruises (okay, a lot of them) to show for it! This weekend we had a party with our parents and my sister, brother-in-law and nephews. Since Jacob seems to love all things monkey, so we made that the theme. Jennifer made Jacob a very cute cake. He wasn't too big on it overall (perhaps he is watching his figure) but I enjoyed a piece of it last night. The party was fun though and Jacob received many nice, new toys and a few cute clothes.
Jacob is ready to PARRRRRRTY!
