Now that Jacob has hit the 5 month mark, we thought it would be a good time to break out the rice cereal (thanks again Bryan & Jill) and see how Little Man would do with some "real" food. We were both surprised that that he did quite well with it. No fuss. No real mess. No spitting it out. He took to it very well actually. Next weekend we'll bring out the veggies. That is when the real fun should begin!

Okay - this went much too well for first timers. There should have been more spitting, sneezing, cereal on face, floor, hair. Maybe he's saving that for the veggies - particularly the green ones...
